FOREVER

The man and woman will enter

Everyone will stare

He will lead her down

The man in the back will think this is no fair

Everyone will think what a beautiful time

The man in the back will think what a crime

The preacher stands tall

And begins to start

How could she do this

Break the man's heart

The vows were said

The kiss was kissed

How could she think

He would not miss

It is party time

The gifts are here

If she would have only

Been sincere

Why even invite him to this place

If she never once intended on watching his face

For that should have been him

Who walked with her

To take her to him

Forever

I walk in the clouds, I sing in the dust

You would be surprised to know how often this happens actually. It is so very sad. You have told this well.

Well written TT.....

Love is mostly spelled 'pain'

and life is rarely fair...

Happens all the time.....
