                Value for Money

The madam opened the door of a big city brothel,
Pleasant service was something she always inspired,
May I help you, she asked the gent standing before her? Yes, I believe Natalie works here, was what he inquired,

She does, said the Madam, but she is very expensive,
Perhaps you would prefer another lady instead,
No, I must see Natalie, he emphatically responded,
Well she costs a thousand dollars a visit, the good madam said.

Without hesitation he drew out ten one hundred-dollar bills
And gave them to Natalie as she led him upstairs,
Exactly one hour later he thanked her sincerely,
An exalted look on his face as if he’d just said his prayers.

The very next night there was a similar occurrence
And Natalie exclaimed, this had never happened before,
The same man spending such money on consecutive visits
And she felt quite flattered as she let him out her front door.

Next night everyone was astounded to see him back once again,
Giving Natalie a thousand dollars with a show of aplomb,
An hour later as he was leaving, she thanked him sincerely,
You have been my very best customer, where do you come from.

Oh I come from South Carolina the gentleman replied
Why so do I, responded Natalie, looking now quite askance,
Yes, I know, said the lawyer, I’m your sister’s attorney,
Your dad passed away and the three thousand’s your inheritance.

It is very important that one is paid for services rendered, and it appears the he was justly rewarded for delivering the money owed.

ANother brilliant write.

Your friend always,
