I have done this before, or so it seems
however, the feelings of the past is just a mere dream.

A past that was never present,
a feeling of loss towards something I never had.

Or did I?

The mystery of it all, as thick as the London fog
and as deep as a European bog.

Did you ever love me or was it a lie?
Did I really walk up to you and say good-bye?

It feels like I did, but my gut says it cannot be true!
Because I know how much I truly love you.

I've awakened before wondering if what I dreamt had really happened...
