Walking in willows of wondering
I fade to translucent facades
Feigning my sharing and caring
For whispers alone in the dark

I no longer plead for the game
Am absent from thoughts absolute
A healing and fading occurs
When time ticks away in the lark

Tomorrow will dawn a new day
A cliche, indeed, to resort
But true, 'tis none-the-less
Reality dims to a spark

Beautifully written and profound. It all depends on what one considers reality ...

"Walking in willows of wondering"

~ Love that line and your use of alliteration!
Beautiful intro to a fine piece of writing!
