          The Greatest Fear

Down the ever-rolling years
comes perhaps the greatest fear of all...
that even Love can no more linger
than the final fleeting sunbeams
   at this twilight window,
when unknown shadows claim the day.

Such pictures painted in so few words.
What a soulful, instilling piece this is Bruce.

So nice to see you back, dear Bruce, your melancholy is always so hauntingly well expressed.

I love how you mix pain and sorrow with connections of natures haunting and chilling beauty.

Bruce....Tis sad to think that love would go like day to night.  Your imagery has painted the mood well. Applause!
