Flowing creeks and falling leaves around fresh bailed hay
Bluebonnets are bloomed too bad I cannot pick a fresh bouquet

Deer constantly roaming through my yard
Moving away from here is going to be so hard

Driving through the back roads and counting the stars
Guys serenading us with their Gibson guitars

This state makes me have so much pride
Hell its the biggest one nationwide

Powerful rays beat down on my face
Only natives keep this beauty from becoming waste

You are truly a southern bell and a Yellow Rose. I am a Texan and appreciate your beautiful words and thoughts. I wrote my Doll a poem called my "Yellow Rose" I will post it tomorrow just for you.
