L.A fought through sheer sun
and they crossed the street
with their collars wrinkled
and arms pulsating
from a night-less alley.

It's tough round' here,
East L.A, with a needle
between two veins, two sets of eyes,
and a pocket full of change,
a pocket full of mans lies
sleeping in the echoes
of an empty garage.

Jaded, fleeced,
run around with a stank of Hennessy,
pushing a cart full of empty cans,
for a taste of this.

A taste of East LA
without the liquor,
the darkened hoodies,
the push of a needle
through the plain clothing
the hunched over figure

Of a man with a needle,
pushing through East LA.

Dark and heavy, Tomer.  This is truly a poem of the streets.  Well constructed with great images in a neo-Gothic sense.
Thank you
Jim
