Paris boulevard;
on this Sunday afternoon
with the melancholy of leaves
Heralding the streets.

The cheese shops crowded
with the usual fleet of customers and tourists,
gawking and waiting,
as they placed their orders, one by one.

On this long boulevard;
Cabernet Sauvignon sat
along the wooden isles,
as the owners boy
swept the dust from the entrance onto the sidewalks.

The dust settled,
as the sun drifted further
away from the boulevard cradle,
where the wine and cheese
carried over to the coffee shops
along the nights rivera.

Now I really want to go back.  Those cafes are just the greatest for people watching.  Nice portrait you painted with your words.  I and imaging the leaves of fall in Paris now.
