I listen to the sound of silence
Quietly it pursues me
To every nock and corner.
And is it that I am quite mad
As I slip
And
Spill
My guts
On the
Wall.

I even hear it when itâ€™s gone
To bother someone else
In a different place.
And is it Iâ€™m insane
As I open
The
Door
To
Call it
Back.

I shout louder than it can bear
So it has to scurry back
To this room.
And am I round the bend
As I grasp
It
With
My mind
No
Iâ€™m still
Stuck to
The
Wall

It can be like this or it can be a source of deep perceptions and revelations.

Nicely done, Mr. Naz. You will have noticed that the html editor in the posting window does weird stuff with apostrophes and quotation marks: best to preview and correct to ensure proper impact of your work. You may also notice that the editor does not accept semi-colons, so I've gotten used to using colons, although the Punctuation Nazi in me screams. Look forward to seeing more of your work.
