Hey everyone! Well I started writing poetry not that long ago... and just starting to get the hang of things. Here are 2 poems that i wrote these past few days.

=
Cycle of Torment
=

Waves crashing intensely

Against the rocky shore

Never succeeding to escape

The immortal grasp the the sea

To and fro, continuously teased

A little taste of freedom

Then hopelessly dragged back

Imprisoned

In this never ending cycle

=
Garden of Thoughts
=

In this garden you will not find

The many flowers and greens that grow

Nor the many lingering creatures

That wander aimlessly about

In this garden there exists

A festivity of colorful reflections

Rushing about, here and there

Never pausing for slumber

This garden needs no sun or water

For it lives off of  the mundane

And transforms it into creativity

The hopes and dreams that dwell there

In my garden of thoughts

Welcome to Passions in Poetry!

I enjoyed your two first offerings very much.

To give the poems due attention I suggest you post only one at a time.

I can tell you love to write.

Love,
Margherita

I very much do. I hope that I can continue to improve. It's a shame that some people don't value poetry...

Welcome! I enjoyed reading both your offerings, and encourage you to keep pen and paper handy!
I like the idea of 'mundane' but beautiful garden items.
