Flow down the river,
the weight lifting from your chest
slow and calm

look to the right
through the thinly cut woods
and there runs a stream

fast and bright
bathed in light

rushing rapids
through a shallow brook

the shallows
the shallows

and sharp edged rocks
should we switch
to the shift

of another lover
another one swift

the only thought being
if there
where would we spill

where would we spill

and so look ahead
from this slow turning
tube

even if we linger
in the bend
it is the more beautiful view
