Fair to middlin' of nowhere

0 posted 2009-10-16 07:02 PM

There is a line
that eludes me
An evil
I overlook
That lurks
along my path
looking at me
As I reach out
Passing on
What I can
As I am called
As I feel needed

Too concerned
With the task at hand’s
Higher purpose
Warnings go unheeded
About misunderstandings
And motives
Of ill intent
That snares innocence
Into innuendo

Guts it
Skins it
Hangs it
Out to dry
Tainted
And
Jaded

Thanks for checking me out, glad you like. Have tattooed over the worst of the tread marks and married my Utopia where I can trust without reservation. My fatal flaw is to look for the good in people first.~L

I've had these thoughts and enjoyed the way that you penned them.  Upon reading this--Note to self--Ignore the bad and those who feed of it.
