A helpless romantic

A trouble addicted fanatic

Its who I am, what I am and who I stay

Listen to these words of a wordless day

A poem with no poetic sense

Its a contradiction of what life has been since

Since that day, that wordless day

The look in your eye

The vibe of your soul

Who was I to ever dream up the words to know

I am a poet, or so I say

I am a poet, I prove it in the tales that I tell

A blank stare

A fake smile

These are the tools of a trade

Of which I am a professional

You are beautiful in every sense

Not many words can prove this hence

I give you what I give it all

For the dramatic scene that I saw

So we'll let those lips part

Let those words get lost in the wind

"We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." Oscar Wilde
