Hand in hand they walked ahead
"Listen my dear" was what she said
"Don't just walk, we'll have fun instead"
"Why don't we just run to the stead?"

She tugged at his hand and gave a big smile
"Oh! Why don't you speak just once in a while?"
"Speak to me, Don't be so vile"
She dragged him along for a mile

He fell into her hands
Now she felt bad,
He just couldn't stand
Poor Miss Anshul was all sad

"Don't fear my love"
"I'm just here, near"
"I'll take care of you"
"I'll carry you poor dear"

So she carried him all the way
Miss Anshul so hard she tried to look all gay
When passers by looked at her perplexed
"Oh! Its nothing, I like carrying him". Vexed

they left her to her chore
They couldn't bear to see any more
Her misery at their heart it tore
The "him" she talked to was a teddy bear from the store.
