I never knew I'd be alone Sitting here passing time Never thought I could feel this alone Sitting here watching the time I look forward to my dinner Microwavable and bland At least its something to do Being alone is something I cannot stand No one to call on the phone Write letters to who I don't call this a home If I had wings, wherever you are Would be the place I flew Such a shame its probably too far Not to mention I got such a ugly scar You'd probably hate me anyway 'cause of the way I used to say Speak my mind, thats just me So alone can't you see |

Oh, I love being alone: noone wants me to stop reading or writing poetry and fix something. I have never experienced lonelyness. I guess it comes from growing up with two parents and two brothers in a trailer. interesting write |

"Speak my mind, thats just me So alone can't you see " A simple line holding such intense thoughts... But you aren't alone as martiniat8 said... Write how much you please... Say whatever you want to... We are all here to listen... Fly my friend for the world is yours to explore... And you haven't got a scar which can't be removed...with time they disappear...  Hope you better... |

I feel such pain not just for you but for myself. This reminds me of an experience quite similar. Sometimes I still feel alone, but it's been 7 years since I moved on. Right from the heart and glad you shared this meaningful poem. In God we trust and one nation under God |
