The past echoes in my head
“I’m  not the man you thought me to be
and by the way honey,
the love you seek does not exist”

I laughed in his face
I’d  show him
I’d find me a ‘prototype’
...

But ‘Mister too good to be true’
proved to be the copy cat
Déjà vu
As I discovered ‘the untruth’
The love I seek cannot exist

The present echoes in my head
“he’s not the man I  thought him to be
and sad to admit honey,
“the love I seek does not exist”

it does, but just not where or in whom you think. Sometimes the love we need, is above.

Well written. We dream of perfection, forgetting that we are all on a Path of evolving, of improvement, of discovery, and often it is the little details of non perfection that attract us most, because they give us reason to know each other better, by enriching each other in the same time.

Love,
Margherita
