I was sitting on my usual bench
In Le Jardins des Plantes
Had it all to myself
Spread out like
Legs up
Begging the Sun Gods to find me
When this woman
French as French can be
Approached me
Obviously this was her bench
And there was no way
She was going to let me
Have it all to myself
She simply said
‘Excusez-moi Madame’
With such a force
That I sat upright in an
Instant and moved
All the way over
Cursing myself
That I had given her
The sunny spot
And so we remained
Sitting upright and steadfast
Neither of us moving
Until the Sun Gods
Left us to pursue their
Night time partners...

That was very amusing, I enjoyed it very much.
Keep writing about France, I love it. I have only had the pleasure of visiting once but you bring me back every time.

Dear Roniece, you put a picture and movie in my mind with this one and I laughed, I enjoy your little adventure in Paris and that you are writing again. Take care my friend.

Ah, darling, maybe she thought that the sun was being unfaithful to her.  Or that he prefered the lovliness of ... you!

Dear Roniece, well at least you learned one

thing from that encounter, never give up your place in the sun. Love
