Klassy One, it is always a treat when I see that you have posted a poem!

This delicate penning is divinely sublime ~ and sublimely Divine...

In my mind's eye I can see the sun filtering through the colourful wings of a newly freed  butterfly ~ as if the wings were stained glass windows in a church.

Exquisite, Karen! ~ Just like you!

Love you dear poetess and friend!

Margherita, thank you for sharing.  It's an attempt at haiku.     I know it's not traditional, though, because man-made images are usually omitted from the traditional forms.  I appreciate the encouragement very much!

VERY nicely done, Lassy!

(missing a syllable in the last line for it to be a haiku but...so what??

Michael, love those exacting eyes!  I missed some replies on this poem.  Winging soft colors your way, these vibrant mini sails across Indian summer.

Bill, thank you sharing your thoughts. You are so good with winging color and softness in your poetry.

I missed the replies on this one and would not have known if I'd not gone back into the archives today.

Rachael, they are extraordinary creatures, aren't they?  How they capture so much magic in their wings is a momentous wonder, and the sun grows jealous!
