Evenings Pleasures

As evening gathered round us,
We sat beside the fire,
And simply as the sun dropped,
We relaxed with quiet desire,

The mountain breezes picked up,
And whispered amongst the trees,
We marveled at the music,
Made by chattering aspen leaves,

Josh stood beneath the tallest of them,
And watched as the gusts would blow,
He waited and watched as though mesmerized,
For what, we didn’t know,

Then He held his hands up to the sky,
And we smiled in disbelief,
He had been waiting for just one to fall,
He wanted to catch a leaf.
.
.

Josh went camping series.

The answer is always NO, Until the question is asked.

"The mountain breezes picked up,

~ Music to my ears! ~ and to my soul! Lovely!

"Then He held his hands up to the sky,
And we smiled in disbelief,
He had been waiting for just one to fall,
He wanted to catch a leaf."  ~ Absolutedly precious!

This heart-warming "Josh went camping series" is a wonderful keepsake treasure for your son! ~ Good daddy!

Hi! Tracey,  This is your mother speaking.
Love your poems about our camping trip. Josh is just at the age to be so much fun, everything is a new experiance and joy to him it makes it a joy to every one around him. Of corse this is his grandma talking.

Enjoy all those times with your son Tracey
while he is growing up. It doesn't last for

long so make the most of them while you can.
You are another extremely lucky man to have a son. All the best my friend. Take care.

Tracey, I sure have missed reading you. But hopefully I will have satellite internet soon and can be on here more.

This makes me want to go camping for sure. God it's been years.

Lindsay,  thank you again.  I have enjoyed watching him grow and learn.  I feel honored to be able to teach him some of the things he will need to know to be a good man.

I always look forward to seeing your comments on my poetry.  You make my day.

Sincerely,
Tracey
