Dawn hits with the rays of light
Over the horizon shining so bright
Sidewalks go from black to gray
Grass rejoices where they lay
The beat of the morning
For the day is yearning

Turn it up

We go here and there
Vrooooom is the beat
Mother Nature can only stop and stare
Craaaank is the beat
Turn it turn it turn it
Up

So many beats
So many strings
So many rhythms
Melody
Rat-tat-tat-
Vroooooom
So sad to see
Rat-tat-tat-
Take a breath.

......

Turn it up
Crank it up
Swing it up
Move let it shine
Dance to the parody
Of the life before me.

"We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." Oscar Wilde

I like this, it made me smile!

The hardest part about writing poetry,
is trying not to write like everyone else.

I am kind of dancing to the beat, you know.  I am a bit noise intolerant though - so I am going to have to fight with Shellie to get you to turn it down just a bit.

I like this.
