Autumnal North

Breeze, control the changing guard
In tempest flight across the yard
East rise, your cheek in turn, ruddy to the sun

Kick down the rains of spring below
Oh breezes flutter soft and slow
Autumn’s name, vitality in echo strum

Sweep through the air vivacious song
Sound low and proud, in tune move on
Emote of leaf, a longing look become

Of all the seasons, with their grace
Send cooling breath to peach time’s face
East rise, your cheek in turn, ruddy to the sun

Give least the chill and more the will to run
Autumnal north, begins in turn begun

I see there is a very particular rhyme pattern here and this renders your magical use of words even more enjoyable.

Excellent work, dear Kathleen!

Love,
Margherita
