It is the morning side of midnight,
...with new day still hours away,
A cooling breeze blows from the north,
...holding night within its sway.
Up above the firmament
...shines bright on earth below,
A million, trillion luminaires,
...in a celestial starlight show.
I stop to listen to the calm,
...as through the fields I wend,
Ensconced in silence of the stars,
...my journey soon to end.
Up above Orion shines, as guardian o'er the Earth,
...as once again I start my way,
Knowing soon my trek shall end,
....with break of brand new day.

As beautiful as Orion in the night sky. *S*

I always look for Orion in the night sky when the season comes around, and I'm always disappointed when the season is gone. This reminded me of happy nights, when I see the guardian archer in the sky. Thank you.
