She wrote in the pages about him
Etched in the paper in pen
She wrote all about the times they spent
Together endlessly in love forever

Someone should have told her
Long before
He broke her pretty heart
Maybe they would have part
Long before
She fell in love with the devil

His eyes, his hair, his adorable smile
His walk, his glare that goes a mile
Shes such a beautiful girl

Sheeeees such a wonderful pearl

She breaks down
She loses all that is real
She falls to the ground
Wishes she could no longer feel

He just laughs
He just goes on to find
Another
Then cross paths

Such a pouted lip
Skin so soft
Hair so perfect
Eyes like the stars

In his mind all he sees is an object
Makes her so sick
That she lost it

Now shes a shame to see
Just a glimmer
Of the sunlight
She used to be

No don't cry
No don't feel sorry
We all know why
She fell in love with a devil,

"We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." Oscar Wilde

See?  I am glad I came back for seconds.  I like this enough to save it.

I think you'd be the first to ever save any of my poems to my knowledge that is.

Thank you

Sadly this does occur. The pain is well rendered.

That's why we should always rely on ourselves as a perfect whole, so that we can heal from such experiences without losing trust to find a new love.

Great write.

Love,
Margherita

Pain is such a strong feeling that can be rarely mended by those around another. ~ I'm wishing recovering thoughts and hoping everything is okay.

If she were to read this, and know its about her. I'm sure those strong and kind words would bring a warm feeling to her heart.

Thank you for the responses

The bad boy is much more fun to some than the angel. Even, maybe especially, if he is predictably bad. You know what to expect.
The one who is good: boring!
I liked the poem!

Couldn't tell you exactly how I know about the old soul, and rock and roll

I just do.
