I wish I had a time machine,
to visit moments of happiness,
I know of one that's very special,
but it will never happen I guess.

I could retreat from reality,
pretending that I'm travelling back,
to seven years younger than I am now,
meeting our Balladeer, Michael Mack.

Not only him, but so many others,
who came from yonder, to this place.
We kissed and hugged and laughed toghether,
I would see them again, face to face.

Among them three, no longer with us,
at the time we're living in today.
Oh how I wish it was just possible,
to make a time machine work some way.

But until then, my memories will last,
recalling each moment, so special to me.
Though Lyra, Sy and Marge have gone,
they're alive in my heart as ever can be.

(just ignore the grammar faults and typos, it's been seven years since I wrote it. LOL not that I'm any better these days)

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow

I remember you sitting up in the playhouse early in the mornings in your own little world and sittig on a bridge on the beautiful estate in Chester County. Those were peaceful days

Dear Titia, that is a lovely heart touching poem and I'm sure that it will be appreciated when it is read upstairs.
Well done dear Lady. love.

If you ever get that time machine up and running, please have it zap away the illness I was experiencing so I can join all of you as I'd planned to do! *S* I've had the joy of meeting many of those attendees at other times... but also the sorrow of knowing some meetings were missed forever... so I'm still envious! *S*

We do have a time machine, dear Dutchie. It's called a mind. My time machine has vivid memories of a lady from far away who came to enrich my life in many ways, a lady who danced along pool's edge at midnight with a drink in her hand and a smile on her face.

I replay that time machine often and feel the smile grow on my lips at the recollection of thoughts and memories. They will never die....
