Forever In Your Heart

Yesterdays flowers have all dried up,
as I sit upon dry parched land,
head in hands, my soul ready for flight,
it is all that remains alive,

Barely breathing, existing,
ashes and ruins, desolete,
I thirst for love, life,
finding none, a barren land.

Dust blows upon cold winds,
carving and shaping my thoughts,
my voice echoes for miles,
I am my own ghost,

Finding comfort within memories,
all that I have left, a beating heart,
the music plays, beat by beat,
this song will end,

It will be the last song my soul will ever write...

there are too many 'ghosts' ...
in this shadow-land that
once was America ...

applause for this emotive 'write' !

Thank You Bruce,

such a manly name, I like it!
yes the America we once knew and loved, is a ghost, no longer exists, just fragments of
it in memories...

Well this is one of your darkest writes to date. Well, that I know of.

It's great to know that one is versatile in her style of writing. You can really focus your mind to something and pursue your newest style.

I give you props
