perhaps you were a sky,  a shy woman kind
that cloudless dancer dancing her passion
a canvas wearing only transparent oils
in need of permission from fingers to paint

you were soft like swelling around a smile
and then quiet after as if your eyes were there
a tiptoe ballerina looking through transoms
to see if you still could see your self that way

my hands moved the drapes away to show you dawn
and how lovely you looked glistening your ends
like the residue of a well after it rains
when there are not enough fingers to capture

you glanced at my eyes for only moments then
and smiled at my insatiability reflecting
like sand colored mirrors devouring an ocean
and you said you had one still hidden inside

just a heart width away, waiting to be opened

___________

daark (suna-do,  way of sand)

D (it's too early to type -- I typed "j" and who the heck is "j"?  Dunno!)

There's not much I can say after reading beautiful poetry.  So, I'll just shut up and enjoy it.

PS - You know that making me shut up is a major feat in itself. Good job!

Romance and laughter what could be more inspiring?

Again you captivate with your mastery.

Love,
