trusting
the strength
in your grip

on the handle
of things

tethers me

a kite
on a string

flying freely

yet never
so high
I am
lost

nor ever
without
a way
down

back to
your arms
on the
ground

rewound

.

Oh, I love the flow as well.

Very well done, and beautifully and poetically written.

I absolutely adore your spirit and way with words.

I like the idea of flying so high,  yet staying within our means.

Especially love your ending....Rewound!!  yea, that's what I'm talking about!!

brneyedgrly - you sure do write some nice stuff. Liked this one a lot. You say a lot about your feelings in your writings, and they are touching...

Brown-eyed Beauty ~

Shellie, I just checked my library and it appears that it is the same as your rewrite.

That's great news for me! ~ Because I'm the queen of rewrites! Now I know that when a pipster saves a poem of mine before I make any changes, they will automatically have the edited version! Yeah! Thanks, ss! Because of you, I just learned something new!

Loveya!
