                  SUPERMAN

Our premier Jeff Kennet on a trip to the States
Was invited to stay at a place quite elite,
A convention of Superhero’s about to take place,
Batman,Wonderwoman and the Phantom complete.

Next morning for breakfast Superman arrived late
And explained that he’d had a quite stressful night,
Jeff Kennet inquired as to the cause of his state
For he appeared as if suffering from quite a bad fright.

Superman replied that as he was preparing for bed
Wonderwoman was revealed with his x-ray vision,
Lying naked on the bed and with him quite easily led,
Then on an impulse he made this hasty decision.

A quite startling result as I flew through the wall
And then landed on the bed, as light as one can,
“Wonderwoman would be shocked,” said Jeff quite appalled,
Superman said, “not nearly as shocked as the invisible man.

Lindsay my friend,  I hadn't seen anything frmo you for weeks and was worried.  I am so glad to see you were jsut saving up for a comical rendition to something I don't remember ever seeing in the comics.

You wrote this very well, leaving the punch line for the very last word.  LMAO

Perfect.  and funny as usual,
Well done.

That's a new twist for the DC comics. ~ I don't think they have ever ventured down that path

Well, now, I always thought that it would be rather cool if I could be invisible at times. However, after reading the hysterical ending to your poem, I can now see that there could be some very real drawbacks to that! lol

Love 'n hugs, dear Lindsay,

Linda

Dear Lindsay, thank you for the smiles.

Just read about invisibility in Michio Kaku's book "Physics of the impossible". It is not mere science fiction. Invisibility qualifies as a Class I Impossibility, which means that within the next few decades or at least within this century, a form of invisibility may become commonplace. Can you imagine what will happen??

Love and smiles.

Margherita, It's always so good to see your comments and I'm glad that you had a laugh as well, Think of the fun we could have if being invisable did evenuate. Thank you dear friend, Love, Lindsay
