I was a chatterbox
first row with braces

you a back seater
smoking butts on
the sky

a match made
by circumstance

you gave me a
pencil

i gave you some
peppermints

we kissed by
the ocean

in a seasweep
of periwinkle

i wasn't your type
and you, not of mine

but it worked
for that moment

making brine sweeter

math by the seashore

we were parallel lines.

"making brine sweeter

math by the seashore"

~ That's my kinda math!

"we were parallel lines."
~ and never the twain shall meet

~ except "for that moment"!
