.

September
And the weather
Is cool

And the sky
Is clear and God
Is not yet dead

Sugar and spice
And everything nice
With long white tails
On bright red kites

And soon
The leaves will take
Their autumn colors on
I’ll bring out my green jacket
And you your brown coat

Cardinals and jays
Chipmunks and squirrels
Ducks and geese
On a small town lake

And I’ve learned to love
How those two blue stars
So light up the world
When I make you laugh

Well, John, that's it, most certainly one of my favorites of yours.

John,

This is very touching, and well done work.

This is so warm, and that last verse gave me a case of the "feel-goods".

It's a nice mood on you, John.
