I fell in lust with you,
covered in lavender scars
partially mostly done healing.

Soapy bubbles
filled with origami love notes,
I folded the lofty dreams involving you
and released them to the wind.

I took hold of the glass
around a recently blown-out candle.
If not for calluses,
I'd have been burned.

This is a very visual poem.  I like it and like the vulnerability you show that lurks underneath that calloused exterior.
