.

Ah Dear
Belated maiden

There are no
White knights left
Save those perchance
That dance in your dreams

Those that were
Learned long ago
Well enough
When charging fore
To answer another’s call

And they are now
Far more stoical
Cautious if not cynical
Experience urging
They listen to
The wisdom
Of their wounds

Still it’s good to hear
The old tunes beckoning
As once encouraged
Young paladins
While sitting with wine
Beside the fire

The servant girls
With their
Long brown hair
Happy enough
To grant a smile

And something more
Should one desire
To entertain the moon

I really enjoy the way you capture life everywhere that you find it and your writing style is so good, straight to the point and yet always seems to add that extra touch that says that you really sold your heart to the poem.

Good writing

Jan
