I got lost in a place
only a rebel knows
On my way to find the Crystal Sea

I was just a whisper in my head
How could I have known
what stepping through the fire
would do to me

But I know
Lord, I know
It’s still me

Tryin’ to figure out what happened
They always say you shouldn’t look too far behind
And I don’t wanna live in reasons
For things I’ve said and done
But oh my God, I wish I’d seen the signs

But it doesn’t matter

Standin’ on the lonely side
Of a wooden heart
Bangin’ my head
against a wounded pride

Hands are reaching up for heaven
Nothin’ to hold me down
Caught between the fire and the sky

Tryin’ to make the living somehow more my own

I kept wondering why that frisbee kept getting bigger and bigger....and then it hit me.

Nice flow of words. Insightful. Indeed nothing really matters to the point of making our lives miserable, especially when we look back at it after a certain time. There is always something positive in what we experience.
