Yes, that was it at the Somme.  And still it continues other places. I'm glad you keep reminding us.

INteresting...recently went camping at a lake in eastern NM.  It was a reservoir as  are most of the lakes out here.  Here is the strange part....the lake was absolutely filled with shells, everywhere...huge shells.  Where did they come from?  How long were they there?
