Amongst dreams
I saw,
though my eyes pressed in sleep.
I felt a child, dancing in meadows.
Blessed abundance!
Posies chanting a destiny to Wind-Gods
beckoning me down paths without signs.
Mileage etched
deep within an ageless face.
And when I fell beneath a starless sky,
my body prone in universal bliss;
I prayed for wizardries
that I may rise above meadows as a feather
floating above wildflowers bowing
to life' s uncharted storm.
I felt my being lift.
The fields below sway in distant glow.
Navigator,
as I watch the Wind-Gods laugh.

If in dreams, then so in life!

An exceptionally appealing read! ~ Every blessed line of it. Here are a few of my favourite ones:

"And when I fell beneath a starless sky,
my body prone in universal bliss;
I prayed for wizardries
that I may rise above meadows as a feather
floating above wildflowers bowing
to life' s uncharted storm."

You're quite the writer, Ms. Stillwater!

Janet, I enjoyed every word, sound, image, concept of this, as well as the poem in its entirety - and I love the "stillwater" part of your name.
