I gave a drunkard
a bottle of wine
and took a doll away
from a little girl
who had no toys

I took a bowl of soup
from a starving child
and gave meat
to a glutton

Sadly this is what happens all the time. The rich become richer and the poor poorer.

Impressive.

(((Margherita)))    Yes    The rich become rich and the poor become poor.
I really can't attach  "sadly"  to it.
I see it kind of like the old saying says...

"If you have an apple, I will give you one.
If you do not have an apple, I will take it from you"

There are all kinds of men and honestly I have met very few genuine ones so I too see the world in the same vein.

"Acceptance", letting people be who they are and love them for that. With the help of a friend Lar, I now see the true meaning behind these words. A good lesson, though a hard one, lol ((hugs))
