sometimes now I imagine the sounds of her
like leaves left on water without wind
how they move around like her hair
when she laughed with her head tilted back

and sometimes the ocean is still her eyes
catching sun speckles in the green gazing
perhaps a child holding glitter sandfulls
and never letting any fall in the same place

her perfume is too distant to be closeness
but recognizable like a kiss left on the glass
when drinking after a lover some years later
and looking back at how they smiled back then

I wonder if she still moves her foot around
in that dangling sandal of conversation
when the woman of her is elsewhere dancing
possibly barefoot and on tiptoes taller too

so she could be at ease, looking into gods eyes

_____________

daark (do of sand)

scribblenote: do (dough) is japanese for "way of"...

To come back and find this gem makes me realize how I missed reading you.

Moving and with your own touch of divine.

Dayumm, D~ This really does it for me.
Was at the beach yesterday and the water was so still, so perfect, and so hot!

I found myself in a daydream,  imagining all that!

Love it when you write this way~
