Birth; It is defined as
the transition from
darkness into light
as a child opens
his pure eyes
to the world.

But for the newborn blind,
he enters this world
without his sight
and never knows
the warmth
of light.

Life; It is the transition
from birth to childhood.
Innocence becomes
adolescence and
youth turns to
adulthood.

But for the aging blind,
he can never notice
the effect of time
as his hair fades
from brown to
white.

Death; It is the loss of
life and also of light
as man closes his
eyes and gives
his final
goodbye.

But for the dying blind,
the transition from
darkness to light
does not exist,
so death comes
quietly.

"Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,
Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortals ever dared to dream before;" -Edgar All

A very somber piece. Well written for sure.
