The poet puts his glance
on the distant lighthouses,
does not listen to the low voices
which assail the day passers-by.

The poet sees farther
than eyes lost in the indifferent ocean,
his voice is deep and welcoming
as the iodine and the marine wave.

The poet does not linger
near the oxidized sorrows,
he washes of the writer’s hands
the breath of the darkened hearts.

The poet it is you, it is me,
it is the salt of the reading,
the nurturing and low sun
on the mind which consoles to go away always.

Yann...You hit the nail on the head my friend. Poets really do look at the world differently and express their thoughts in a much different but wonderful way. Thanks for sharing...Paul

have a nice day
