You smile and wave
a crystal blue ocean swell.
Laugh a female laugh,
because I danced
in a public place.

You make conversation
out of threaded pipes,
connecting us effortlessly
with just a spin
of clean fingers.

I smile,
showing the yolk
that I tried so hard to hide.

Thanks TD.   I've never got that 'un before. It's a nice compliment, though.

Glad you liked it.

This is one time where I wouldn't mind the 'yolk' to be on me. Sorry, for my sick joke! Your poetry has a tendency to bring that side out of me at times.

I enjoy the buffet your poetry offers!

This reads as an intimate peek into the window that you  hold up to us.  I like what I see - and I think this is fine writing.
