I thought and worried all last night
And I...I thought of giving up the fight
And I...thought I had a friend in you
And I...I guess I didn't have a clue

I couldn't hurt you for the world
You know my feelings run so deep like a pearl
Taken from the bottom of the sea
To be discovered by just you and me

I didn't want to wonder anymore
And I...didn't even know who was keeping score
And I...I thought of running from you
And I...I find that you're running too

Could you ever hurt me little girl
And don't you're feelings run so deep like a pearl
Taken from the bottom of the sea
Something to be shared by just you and me

A worthy legacy is the irrevocable consequence of dreaming.
Rick A. Delmonico

This is a song that I recorded in 1985 or 86.
You can hear it at: http://www.myspace.com/delmonico2
It is song #2.

I knew it! when I read it, it was sounding as if it were a song, and then at the bottom you tell us it was...

Aha! As I was reading along, I felt like they were lyrics to a song and I thought how nice it would be to hear you singing it!

Then, I read in one of the replies that you wrote, that it was indeed, a song! I clicked on the link you provided and I got to listen to the song! Sounds great! I also listened to some of your other fine pieces! In the little spiel about yourself, I discovered that your "training as a sound engineer was from TREBAS Institute in Hollywood CA where I graduated 2nd in my class in 1987"

~ Impressive! And by the sound quality of your music, your expertise is quite apparent!
