Your Smile Within The Eyes

I wonder what you are thinking about
As I look at your smiling face
What caused such happiness to appear
And where must lie your happy place

Oh the mystery, the story eyes can tell
Haunting in the depths there within
Causes blindness to all else but
Wanting to get lost there again

The secret joy exposed in the corners
Contain the glisten sparkle of the sky
One can only guess what lies below
What makes you smile within the eye

The happy story is written on the face
Yet the upturned lips and cheeks
Have nothing on the soul windows
That in joyous volumes to me do speak

I want to be thought of like this
To be there with you all the while
I long to be the one you dream of
To be the reason behind your smile
