.

Love
Stitched across
The back of tight
Blue jeans

One sees
A lot of that
Here in the land
Of six pack dreams

Trailer parks
Aging tenements
Rows of cars
At corner bars
On weekday afternoons

Cheating hearts
Leaps of faith
Another repeat
Of other nights

And dead raccoons

.

Here it is in Nebraska: another stormy night of little sleep because of thunder and lighening.
So I am up.
Otherwise I would prabably not have seen this nice write on trailer parks and other things. I grew up in a trailer park, so I can relate to this quite well.
All people in trailer parks are considered loosers by the outside world. So those who do live in trailer parks need have no pretentions. Those that do are silently tolerated but not taken seriously.
We are known as trailer trash.
So we do not have to make up stories about relatives of noble birth. Of course, we can if we want to, but no one cares.
Thanks for this good write.
