A New Love

Like music to my soul & colors not yet seen,
gently washing over me,
lapping at my every need.

Joy unexpected, a gift of anticipation,
brightly wrapped
Dreams not yet tapped,
faintly calling "wait and see,"
what yet might be.

Beautiful eye's filling me up,
an empty cup; beckoning light
in the deepest night,
waves on the sand, whispering her name

The softness of light in this-- eyes, nature, love--add to the anticipation of joy and romance.   I like it very much!  ~KL
