Lady by the Lake

Its two hours on horseback
from Cottonwood Manor
to Serenity Lake,
but when a mans heart
turns his thoughts
towards his sweetheart
time seems to pass faster
for a horse and
his eager Master.
Over yonder,
on the other side
of that hill
at the end of
the Lakeview Meadow
lives an especially
sensual lady.
For this reason I ride
towards the lake,
to arrive before the
setting of the sun
so while it
kisses the horizon
I shall be in my
sweet lovers embrace.
Thereafter we will take in
the warm glow of a full moon
reflecting upon a serene lake,
enticing us to go farther
with each subsequent
kiss we take.

Have you ever thought of writing a Harlequin Romance novel? This was dreamy.

WoW! this was wonderful...very nice imagery and format...reminded me of some of my favorite movies whether this makes any sense or not...."Man in the Iron Mask" "Moulan Ruge" "Robin Hood" I don't know but something like that..the Shakespearan era? Anyway, truly enjoyed this read....peaceseaker
