Dawn sunlight
Through an open window

Wind through trees
Moving—summer flowers

Waves wash on shore
Passing cars on the road below

No one now ever comes or calls—
I couldn’t care less

Yo John,

It's great to spend Sunday with the great poets.

I love those days when the sun comes in through my window, warming face and awakening senses to slight breeze, the gentle cascade of water and distant sounds of the interstate.  Especially like the first two stanzas.
