All these years
Look at all
Those dead gods
Along the road

Well bring
Some dogs
And buns
While you can
Old friend

With all this
Beautiful wood
Given the right attitude

It should make
A good fire

Oh I do like this John. I too have many dead gods along my path. As we age wisdom gathered from our experience allows us to cast aside that what we once revered for that is the true essence of maturing. A slow pealing away to find our truth.
Did I say I loved this poem.. great work.
