"The Welcoming Rain"

Bathing in the pool
keeping the head
just,
above the surface

feel the hot and cool wind
caress your face
in a fine, sweet convection

smell the coming storm
in the rumble of the thunder
rolling over the rippled tide

invisible raindrops
plop a timid splash
like pen drops
in an ink colored flash

you'll find these waters warm and receptive
never jealous, or possessive
always patient and palpable

pausing to profess
their purpose

reflective of all that's above
cleansing of all that lies below

washing away the daily debris
and the gathered dust from the past
flooding it away fast
fresh and free

find renewal,
reawakened
for a new beginning
in the welcoming rain...

Thanks, Yoin. I think it need a little re-edit. Ill have another go at it later. I think my favorite stanza is the invisible raindrops make a timid splash like pen drops in an ink colored splash
