Forever and Always
(Missing Lyra, Sy and Marge)

I guess the angels needed you too
So they took you so far away
Still today I am missing you
At least today you feel no pain

From time to time those tears still fall
Remembering times you were here
Whenever I roam these blue halls
I find myself wiping away the tears

I think of you often my friend
And, miss you more than words can say
With memories of you back then
I hold inside my heart today

Forever and always you’ll be
Right here inside the heart of me

Dear Sue, what a heartfelt poem you have written remembering our beautiful Poet friends who have moved on. I miss Seymour Tabin and Marge Tindal very much too. I have also read poems of Lyra in the archives, she too was a most beautiful presence here, but I have not known her.
Thank you for remembering them. I think they sit together, also with the other dear Pip members who passed away, and have fun writing poetry in heaven.
Love,
Margherita

Hugs to you, I miss them too!
They enriched our lives in so many ways.

Lyra showed us strength and determination.
Sy always gave us chuckles.
Marge, was always here for us no matter what else was happening.

Sue,  I was only here a short time before Marge left us, but had a chance to read her work.  She will be missed down here, but I know they needed her treasured spirit up there.
Maybe they needed some poetic uplifting.

It is always hard to let someone go, but it is nice to know they left something here for us to remember them by.

God Bless,
Tracey.

Although I didn't know the persons you are writing about, I must say your poem moved me very much Oklahoma Rose.  A beautiful tribute to friends though no longer here are still in your heart.

You speak for a lot of us here, although I didn't have the privilege of getting to know Lyra. Marge was the first to welcome me to this sea of thought and music.  It is impossible not to be drawn into her sweetness.

And Sy.  Well, he caught at my imagination ina way only he could.  I miss him, too.  I'm glad for the archives, because they are still gifts within it.  I'd just like to add, that I see so much beauty in your poetry, too, that bespeaks a gentle heart.

Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for expressing what many of us feel. The loss of these beloved poet friends ~ as well as White Dove, Michael Auguste and another male poet who was before my time, is still felt to this day.

Thank you all for reading and replying.

Karilea, when I wrote this, I couldn't think of the others names. I miss the others, too, who have passed away.

Yes...love doesn't depart when the beloved dies, but continues forever in poetic lullaby. Thank you for your lovely poem.

How you have touched my heart with this one!
i feel the same way so many times. These three have left an indelible imprint on these blue pages, that no amount of tears could wash away. You have expressed it so well, dear friend and I am grateful for this lovely poem.
