{Searching for OZ series, a ramble of heavy heart}

~~**~~
This night

of wind and thick   air

when  remembered by
the touch of your goodbye

I tasted          the rain
long before it became the fall of storm
long before it became the fall of season

this one night:

I wanted my words to cast upon you
soft as the day we let light
linger into early morning

But the rain was frozen

between layers

between us

I whispered

This is what  its like --
         true silence

I’ll     describe it here: {in sketching thought}

it’s     beautiful,  it’s            damaged

the way:

water trembles upon  petals

the way:
      sounds of water   break

the way:

colors wash        away     all green

again I whispered: true silence; pressed palms

please

I pray for sleep
that I may awake
to gentle eyes

so winter will not need a reason

to stand alone

and I will not fear the reason

of broken

I define myself by all moments and how they teach and touch me......02

My favorite part out of so many parts.

Another gem to read.

So sad, yet so beautiful in its deep melancholy.

Exquisite.

Lauren,

This is absolutely 100% ... no, 200% ... wonderful.  It's awesome.  It blows me away.  It makes me want to gush and over-compliment.  It makes me green (with envy).  Do you think I like it?

Yep, I really, really do.

Such water marks are left upon this page, and not all of them yours!  I feel the green washing to gray, and the wish for blue-sky mornings to waken the heart again and the well deepens...

I was never good at good-byes, either.  They leave such forget-me-nots.

Beautiful poetry, Greeneyes!

I missed your writing more than I had imagined Greeneyes! Such soft beauty in your words. <3

"I tasted the rain long before it came", beautiful, such a gentle and finely written poem, a pour from a lovely heart indeed.
